Peninsula Plastics is heading down south to exhibit and be a part of IDEA25, a trade show for the development of nonwoven materials and sustainably engineered fabrics. This special event will take place April 29 – May 1, 2025, in beautiful Miami Beach, Florida! As a trusted name in custom sustainable plastic packaging, we look forward to demonstrating our innovative, returnable pallets, trays, and textile spool packs. You can find us at booth #325, where we will have a variety of our standard and custom packaging solutions on display. Stop, say hello, and talk with one of our specialists about your packaging goals!
Why Peninsula Plastics?
Peninsula Plastics is a trusted manufacturer of high-quality thermoformed reusable packaging and has been since 1980. We are experts in forming heavy-gauge, durable plastic packaging for enhanced product protection and repeat use without needing replacements. At booth #325, you will experience our range of mirror-image pallets, custom part trays, and layered unitized systems designed to support easier material handling while safeguarding your delicate fabrics. Specific to the textile industry, our custom textile spool packs consist of a pallet as the base, separators to protect each spool layer, and a lid to cover the load. As companies continue to adopt sustainable materials and processes, we take pride in offering reliable, eco-friendly packaging solutions to the textile industry.
What Our Eco-Friendly Packaging Offers:
- Reusable and Recyclable: Depending on the usage and how it’s handled, our packaging has the durability to last multiple years of reuse.
- Standardization: We own over 100+ molds for a variety of different styled pallets, trays, and containers that make up common footprints to seamlessly fit into current systems.
- Customization: Our in-house designers will work with your product dimensions and processes to develop a tailored solution that functions best for you.
- Efficient Shipping Cycles: Returnable packaging does have a higher upfront cost compared to expendable packaging, but your return on investment will be long-term when used within an efficient closed-loop supply chain.
Circular Economy Packaging and Practices
Like the nonwoven and textile industry, we aim to reduce waste, reuse our materials, and recycle packaging at the end of its lifecycle. From the beginning of our production process, where we extrude plastic sheets, to the end, where packaging is recycled, we are looking for ways to be more efficient in our sustainability efforts. We collect debris, falloff material, and sweep up plastic shavings within our facilities to clean and recycle, so we don’t unnecessarily waste. Our Buyback Program, which we facilitate in-house, allows us to purchase unused packaging from our clients instead of disposing of it. We buy back the pallets, trays, containers, or lids from the customer, provide them with a credit, and use the old packaging to manufacture more products.
